A Wedding With Grunt

This was a wedding i did a couple of weekends ago...
It was for some friends,
it was a kinda Do-It-Yourself
(But the Matron of Honour and Bride were actually function co-ordinators
from Newcastle, so they knew what they were doing when i say Do-It-Yourself)
But i did some of the special "Wedding Elegance" signature decor.

The wedding party was headed with the Grooms Harley
and another bike of a friends..
So this just set the theme..
The ceremony was in the beer garden of the
Bendemeer Hotel....
But what a beer garden,
It was so beautiful down by the McDonald River
The Bride wore the most gorgeous dress
with black beading, and the groom had the "Gangster" look...
Back at the reception at the Kootingal Bowling Club
it just went to show you can dress up anything!!!
It looked spectacular and really reflected the theme of the wedding.

With a welcome into the reception with
Ivory Wisteria Trees..
The Arabian Night Canopy had the black draping through it
With the matching Bridal Table with Black Draping
and Black Table Runner.
The cake was so unique....
And not just the topper.
Ive never seen and oval Wedding Cake before..
Made by the marvelous Sue Plank from Tamworth
Isnt the topper just perfect!!
The guys got together to do the ceiling canopy
which im pretty sure they enjoyed.
There was lots of laughing that's for sure!!!
Wedding Elegance provided the Black Table Clothes
and Black Lycra Chair Covers
with the Peacock Organza Sashes...
The couple chose the 12: Square Mirror
which sat under the Hurricane Vase
all available from Wedding Elegance..
When the lights went out...
It really created that wonderful intimate atmosphere
For a perfect Wedding Celebration

Outdoor Ceremony Ideas

Outdoor Ceremonies can be do beautiful and romantic...
And Wedding Elegance has everything you need to make your ceremony really set the mood for the amaising event about to take place.......

I have a special outdoor do it yourself package..
Which includes the Arch, lots of lengths of tulle, trees, pedestal and urn, tulle bows, fabric chair covers, and a shappy easel and frame for you to put a welcome sign in....
Shabby Table & 2 Chairs

Here are some older ceremonies done
prior to my accumulating more hire items,

This ceremony was on pensioners hill here in Gunnedah.

What a wonderful backdrop for the signing of the marriage certificate
the Canola fields in September.....
An isle can be made using the lengths of tulle and the ficus trees or just plain stands..
You can hire as much or as little as you require
Then if you really wanted to get some special WOW factor
there is this idea straight from the states!!
What a wonderful ceremony idea!!

Wedding Elegance on the Today Show!!!

WOW!!
The Today Show interviewed me this morning
on what Gunnedah could provide
for the Wedding of
Miranda and Orlando.

Tuesday, 22 June 2010

I Wonder...... Will Gunnedah be featured in the Bloom/Kerr Wedding Plans.....

As when Erica Baxter married James Packer
my phone has been running hot again today......
Being that i am the only advertised
Wedding Decorator in the home town of
Miranda Kerr
Apparently it has been announced by
The Bloom Camp
that Miranda And Orlando are now officially engaged!!!
See the news here
My official comment is:
Good luck to Miranda and Orlando
I wish them all the very best for their wedding plans
and their future lives together

A Look Back at Some Past Weddings

Back in 2005
I did my very first black wedding....
Although it is really popular now,
this was very unusual five years ago...
This wedding was at Tangaratta Vineyard in Tamworth
The Silk Lined Marquee that was on the property
at the time didn't have a fixed floor
it was just loose gravel...
So white covers would have been totally destroyed!
I wonder how the Brides dress held out??
Wedding Elegance supplied
the Black Lycra Covers & White Satin Sashes
Bridal Table Décor
Cake Table and Décor
Arch Backdrop
Money Tree
The Bride supplied the lovely Ostrich Feathers
But i can also supply them
